Video / Social Media and Its Impact on Children

Today, we are witnessing a significant increase in users’ engagement with virtual spaces and social media, which has no age restrictions, and this issue is causing individuals to become increasingly dependent on the virtual world every day. In today’s conditions, children enter social media at a young age, even before starting school, without acquiring skills from their families and educational environments, and this presence increases with the onset of summer. An undeveloped and curious personality, early maturation, identity crises, insufficient understanding of individuals present in virtual spaces, addiction to these networks, and reduced physical interaction among children are among the threats of uninformed presence in these networks.
